Endoparasitic is a cool game but I wouldn't blame you if this is the first you're hearing of it. If it wasn't for the YouTube Algorithm recommending me one of the developer's progress updates a few months back I might not have heard about it myself. It apparently started out as an entry to a "survival horror" game jam before ballooning into a full game while still keeping the spirit of the original pitch.
You play as a one-armed scientist crawling around on the ground trying to fend off monsters after your legs and left arm are torn off. You have free mouse control you use to move your arm around the screen (almost like Getting Over It, in a way) and you can either use that arm to drag the ground to move yourself or aim a weapon at whatever-enemy-is-threatening-you. You also have *very* limited vision, so by the time you see an enemy you usually only have a few seconds to get out of the way or kill it before it gets to you.
Due to these constraints it effectively still has the Resident Evil you-can't-move-and-shoot restriction, but perhaps even more importantly your weapons need to be manually reloaded. You need to
eject spent shells and replace them with new rounds, and this feature means you constantly get to experience firsthand the horror movie trope of desperately trying to jam in a new shotgun shell before you get overrun by zombies (or whatever).
It's not an incredibly long game but it's got a good hook and a satisfying sense of progression so I really enjoyed my time with it.
